hmmm..the Devil's onslaught is reaching fever pitch now.

nearly half of the Arts Retreat Committee has been ravaged with illness and or personal problems. Matthew was so ill he couldn't even join us for today's meeting, while Moses nearly couldn't join us either, but he bravely endured his food poisoning - diaorrhea, fever - in order to chair our meeting. It's a blessing that Steph, Adeline and all the others could help out! Cherylyn, Rachel, Melissa Gomes all made excellent contributions to our planning.

It was truly a miracle considering the circumstances that in slightly over 3 hours, we more or less had the entire flow of the retreat planned out. God was truly present at our meeting today; it was especially heart-warming to see how Adeline and Moses braved their illnesses to contribute to the planning. His blessings are certainly needed as we continue planning and making the necessary preparations. Moses did mention to me that it was at this time when we were doing God's work, that the Devil would work overtime to try to put obstacles in our path!

Truly, we must continue to pray for God's strength. God bless, everyone!
