Tuesday, May 02, 2006 In order to avoid what would certainly be the unpleasant experience of a skinning, this rabbit has decided to publish the following post. :)
Memoirs of a Nostalgic Rabbit Note: the following is based on a true story..rabbit's honour! The party begins to wind down..she-rabbit says to he-rabbit: "let's go see the blanket of shiny white dots by the seaside!" He-rabbit replies: "Sure..I could use some fresh air too..this hole's getting a little stuffy." And with that, off they go... Hoppity hoppity hop... "Let's find a nice spot where we can see the shiny lights!" says she-rabbit. "I know a good place - there's this rock just off the shoreline..we could sit there," says he-rabbit. She-rabbit: "Eww...the grass here is so wet, my paws are getting muddy," He-rabbit: "Bear with it a while..we're almost there.." She-rabbit: "Okay.." When they finally get there, she-rabbit is amazed by what she sees. "Wow! Look at all those pretty white dots! There are so many of them!" she-rabbit exclaims. "Yea..they are pretty, aren't they..kinda like a certain she-rabbit I know.." he-rabbit suggests. "Are you sure the two can be compared?" she-rabbit counters, cocking her head to the side, her slender long ears falling by her head. "Then again, you can't cuddle up to shiny white dots in the sky.." admits he-rabbit. "Haha..you naughty rabbit.." says she-rabbit, playfully. She nudges him in the side, catching he-rabbit by surprise. "Hey, that tickles.." exclaims he-rabbit, nearly falling off the rock in the process. "Woah..be careful there, he-rabbit..don't sit so close to the edge.." she-rabbit coos, pulling him closer to her. "Okay...but promise not to tickle me again," says he-rabbit, laughing. (For the sake of unwritten decency guidelines, and to keep you, the reader, in suspense, what happens next will be mostly summarised. However, this rabbit assures you, that nothing unbecoming of the prefect gentle-rabbit did occur, so do please refrain from letting your imagination run too wild ;) ) And that's how two rabbits spent the night, at the perfect getaway while on vacation from their usual weekly routines..it was indeed a welcome break from the norm. Yes, they did cuddle up to one another, counting the big metal birds as they took flight in the distance, gazing up at the white shiny dots in a nearly cloudless sky.. Would anything result from this dreamlike evening? Probably not, admits this rabbit, as she-rabbit already has a he-rabbit friend, though for now he's away studying in the U.S of A. . Which sort of makes things a little more exciting, don't you agree..? C"p) raneth hopped off at 3:19 pm
