to all my muslim friends out there..

Happy Hari Raya Haji!!

hmmm...what actually happens on this special day? a camp mate, firdaus, told me it had something to do with the slaughter of sheep at the mosque. presumably to santify the animals? i'm not sure..(and neither is he) "p but he did mention the animals having been slaughtered are later distributed to all at the mosque to take home - free of charge. that's rather interesting, isn't it..free mutton for one and all! (i'm sorry if i'm offending any vegetarians out there!) perhaps it's in the spirit of generosity and sharing with the less fortunate..


my itinerary for today:
1000hrs: head to J8 to get a present for my cuz, anthony. he's turning 16 tomorrow (not quite "sweet 16", right? i guess that term's more appropriate for a girl, huh..=P heh..)

1400-1600hrs: meet with cheryl, van and edwardo to discuss YLM's direction; finalise our calender of events for 2006-07

1600hrs onwards: head on to woodlands n join in the birthday bash of my fav cousin! :D


hmmm..perhaps i'll add before "1000hrs: head to J8..." a '0630: pop by CTK (that's the church i go to - Christ the King)' to prepare myself for our little pow-wow at 2pm..since i'm already awake this early in the morning..



oh yes, and Thanks! pei shan, for encouraging me to blog again. i guess all of us could use a little motivation now and then, huh.. c",)
