YLM's retreat was great...just to summarise, it consisted of a grand total of 6 hrs of sleep (for the planners) lessons learnt for the odd unprepared session conductor (stel's was slightly disoriented, thanks to poor coordination of which i was partly to blame. mine, in comparison, was completely an impromptu session - alex n matt ended up having to step in when things were going really bad) blooding of 'youngsters' (stefan and diane, who were tasked to conduct most of our games - and i must admit their efforts were quite commendable. mostly to say i didn't have a whale of a time, would be lying on my part)
...but most significantly the gelling of our community..not to mention with several new additions to the fold (the bat, leslie, shaun and of course leonard mah =P) all in all, i'd say this year's retreat was probably the best i'd attended since i joined the group in 2001. cheers!
