Today was really Gooood... got the chance to meet up with the YLMers again! gosh, it's been some time since i last saw them- the last week the group got all split up: cc4 camp for some, bible camp others, while poon n a couple of 'em attended the hillsongs PnW @ indoor stadium. i din go for any of those though- think we just camp back from our nutcracker exercise [3 days 2 nites outfield digging shelfscrape, fire-trench] so was pretty exhausted.

had our Youth Mass meeting at 1pm- we discussed the details for the pre-mass event on 24th July (one of the 2 sessions to help the youth prepare themselves for the mass; make it more spiritually meaningful) for the first time i noticed how most of the "seniors" were absent - only Chris was there - indeed, it it symbolic of the transformation that YLM is undergoing; the running of the group is no longer dominated by the elite, core members of the group...which is somewhat of a step - no, a LeAp - in the right direction for YLM. finally, the younger members of the group have the chance to grow in their spirituality, by serving actively in that which is termed Ministry.

our meeting which matthew conducted (ok, he's considered a senior member, but change has gotta start somewhere rite?? ;p) was quite gd--we had this trustwalk/climb/crawl activity where balls of newspaper were thrown at us while we navigated an obstacle course blindfolded, then we reflected on the theme of trusting and obedience to God. taking the examples of Mary n Joseph (Jesus' parents) we discussed their classic examples of total and complete submission to the Holy Will of God.

post meeting: we strolled around j8, had dinner at yoshinoya's/pasta mania (four of us at the former with 4 at the latter) bumped into MPM at pasta; later again at the music store beside popular. rounded up with drink and fries at the Golden Arches...yea, basically it was the perfect saturday - i couldn't possibly dream of spending a more meaningful way with the family i've grown so much in my spirituality with; (compared to the time before i joined the CTK youth movement) the group that has helped me get to know Him so much better c",)
