had a really great weekend...someone commented that my whole sunday got "burnt" in church - i attended 9.45 mass wid ylm, had choir practice frm 2 - 5.30 for the easter vigil mass (we're combining with the St. Dominic's choir...the overall effect is pretty amazing, esp when the tenors, altos n melody all blend in together - if you wanna have a first hand experience of what im talking about, you'll just have to come for easter vigil! :> ) then sang for the evening mass itself - but really i could not imagine a more rewarding way to spend my weekend; i mean, where else do you get to hang out with friends, doing the things you love, while growing closer to your Maker - all at the same time!

on a related note, i noticed the lenten vigil committee really hard at work planning out the event; they were in church all day - i know they had been in church from at least 11am...and by 5+ when my choir pract ended they were still in the parish office! darn, i only wish i could be there for the vigil itself - but i'm not sure wad time the SAF will let us off the island :p anyway, for those of you who CAN make it, don't miss it - cos i bet it'll really make this year's lent extra meaningful!
