wanted to go for the nine forty-five today but was feeling a little lazy...plus a wee bit feverish. i DID go three hours later though to be re-united with my wife aka ms. montana! took her for a spin around bishan park -- it felt great to be mobile again!! c"p) it's the cooling breeze in your face as you speed down a winding road: there isn't quite a sensation that can compare to it

fatigue did set in eventually though, and i spent most of the afteroon just lounging around at home...till choir practice at 4:30pm though. met this peculiar lady in church who appeared to be carefully inspecting the altar -- she was literally encircling it and from time to time pressing the side of her head to the altar, as though trying to listen for something. i continued to watch for a distance when uncle eric walked in; naturally he asked her what she was doing almost seated on Father's chair and i heard her reply something along the lines of "looking at the floor" and describing something as "scary, sia..."

practice was a little scrappy today - our choir master was having a really bad sore throat but fortunately we had Kenneth (i think he's one of the cantors) to stand in for him, so we managed overall. Barangay Christ the King (BCK) Choir -- barangay being tagalog for "group", or on a deeper level: community. indeed, im really beginning to feel part of the community, the family that is the BCK Choir =) ...hmm, i suppose it's something that's really important for any group to be successful -- for everyone to grow together in that community, everyone has to make sure that no one is left out; everyone must feel they are part of the group...and without any one particular individual, things wouldn't be the same. that's what a community should really be!
