oh yea...today felt really great!! the "power" of being able to spend money...hahaha! yup, my whole pay-check for my first week of work (on my new job in the sales line) spent in 2 days! let's see...i gave some of it to dad, got my cousin Anthony a CD for his bdae and hung out with two of my ex-classmates - christina n marlini. the experience of spending my pay with them was particularly enjoyable...we caught the Mona Lisa smile (which i wouldnt mind watching again), ate at a sushi restaurant n played pool at mambo..(the latter two which i partially sponsored, but the fun i had with them was worth much more than any amount of money spent! :D) although christina was particularly reluctant to let me pay, i did so anyway - despite some rather vigorous objections ;p

sigh...think its probably gonna be a while till i get to hang out again! going IN this friday...to (as a friend of mine sarcastically described it)the sunny island of Tekong. oh well, at least i've managed to spend some time with my friends (but i had to turn down a farewell dinner with ODAC, a stroll down Chinatown with Acts 29 n a welcoming dinner for Fr Yim-our new priest at CTK) and of course with family as well. but to be honest, my personal belief has always been that blood is thicker than water, so i had little qualms in deciding to spend the afternoon (onwards) at my cousin's place - to join in celebrating his special day!

my grandmother cooked a delicious spread of her heavenly creations, which we savoured to our hearts content! the fried noodles n deep fried chicken wings were especially irresistable...and with the chocolate cake that followed, everyone went home with their bellys stuffed :p

okay. that's about all for my very memorable sunday...tmr work as usual at 9am. (so i gotta leave home by 0745..) better be getting to sleep..gd nite all!! :o)
