This entry was meant for yesterday, actually, but i was way too tired to type it last night..i fell asleep in front of my computer as the thing was rebooting :p haha!

i was working the night of the feast day dinner in ctk..sounded like quite a party..was Glen Ong one of the M.C.s? the items put up were quite amusing...my co-workers especially appreciated the hindi songs performed by the dance society ;) a couple of 'em were even singing along!

i think it was around 11 when the party ended..as i watched chairs n tables being stacked up, i was wondering how nice it could be if i could go home...hehe, yea right! aniwae, i chose to put myself in this position - so no point in complaining yar. at the moment ive only repaid half of my debt (the one incurred for the drowning of the 7250), so i still need to find some way to earn the remainder...hmm, i'll probably go n ask the esso kiosk in Ave 5..fonz claims they got vacancy there...

i got off work an hour early...managed to bargain with Sasi..:) thanks, dey! went home an took a quik shower b4 joining ylm for the youth hike...it was quite a nostalgic experience for me. we walked the trails the ODAC used to frequent during our trainings...passed the SICC route, cut pass macritchie b4 reaching bkt timah..its a pity that the organisers (ylm, with Alex as OIC) didnt include visiting the summit as part of the itinery :p..we stopped for lunch at the end of rifle range road...near the pipes we walked in cj.. sigh, i miss those days...i miss ODAC sia...and there's the wall climbing too..haha! the 3m wall i finally succeeded in climbing...didnt make it in jc1...

it was about two in the afternoon when i left the group..following the directions of chris, i made my way to the main road. it was quite a distance to walk; i was wondering if i was on the right track btu luckily i met a few other hikers to told me the way. i bumped into this guy n his son who happened to be on the way out! woohoo! thank you Lord! the guy ended up giving me a lift to clementi mrt, cos he found out i wasnt sure of the way...we even bumped into this elderly man with a giant sack of rambutans he n his friend had picked earlier. he told us his friend picked them when he climbed the tree! cool, sia.. and he also shared a couple of the fruit with us too, saying he wouldnt be able to lug the whole load home! hmm..yea, so not only did the Lord provide me with a free ride, but sweet juicy fruit too!

met sherlyn, spyke, cheryl, terence, fonz n edward at burger king, teaminal 2. not only had i kept them waiting, but when they found out i was broke they even chipped in to buy me a burger! it had bacon n bbq sauce in it...was really good. =) we bumped into our good ol' friend, nick on the way to the viewing gallery. praise God! the miracles jus seem to keep flowing! hey nick, brudder...if u get to read this, jus wanna let u noe that we all really miss u here at ctk, esp the ylmers! we'll always welcome u with open arms, bro. take care of urself..

after a short prayer - we had intended to stay longer but i had to attend evening mass... ...so yea, i had inconvenienced the group again! bleah... we took bus 24 back to ctk. and once again, to round up a completely miraculous day, i was actually on time for mass! it seemed really to be against the odds, but i borrowed some decent clothes from rm 102, and edward lent me his shirt too :p yep, as a result, i actually made it for mass..

yesterday was a really wonderful day! and i noe today is gonna be jus as full of the Lord's miracles, works and wonders..im really looking forward to it!
