Graduation Day - last day in CJC...

got up later than usual todae..somehow today felt different from other mornings..yea, its CJ's graduation day..no wonder there isnt the usual stress from having not done an already late assignment, or having to face a test unarmed..hehe, ie without studying the slightest bit, so pretty much jus expecting to fail..:p

it was this unusually light-hearted feeling with which i set off to school..actually, the fact that my dad drove me there allowed me to be even more relaxed..(yea, spoilt kid, huh..;>) everyone was like just strolling in..well, the j2s aniwae..it was like, 7.45 oredi (assembly starts at 7.40) but no one really seemed to care dat we were missing assembly..haha..im not even sure if there was any..;)

we were supposed to be in class spring cleaning..they issued us buckets n pails n stuff, but no one really wanted to get our uniforms dirty so we jus stacked up the tables n chairs..haha. ...then, to top it off, we staged our first eva in-class street soccer match, using a tennis ball someone picked from the courts downstairs..our fun ended tho when guys from another class invaded the "pitch" n robbed us of "possession"....

we were also supposed to be doing dis piece of "artwork" representing what our class stood for..some of the other classes did really nice pieces..really prepared n brought art material n all..as for my class, we dont really hav anione who's exactly artistically inclined (eva since the departure of gwen n chun meng) so we jus took down this caricature piece abt 2m x 0.5m dats been hanging on our class notice board all year, which we paid a professional artist to come in and do for us..and simply added our signatures to it, signing on each of our faces...haha, at least we did put in SOME effort..;P Ira was absent (or so i tot), so i helped her initial next to her portrait..adding in parenthesis "i skipped school today..." haha! the class was in raptures..okay, some ppl were pretty amused, cos ira's absent like 3 outa five days a week so we really could identify with dat..haha, but when she showed up later at nine plus...strolling almost nonchalantly in, no wait - cancel that, she was the epitome of nonchalence as she waltzed in (as though arriving fashionably late for a party)...aniwae, when someone told her abt the initials, she practically called out from the other end of the corridor "THANK YOU, RANNETH!!!" before she could get her hands around my neck though, i quickly added a "didn't" between "i" and "skipped"...somehow, i suspect that the modification made it even more condemning...;)
