yahoo!! finalli the prelims r over =) juz came back fr bowling @ cine'...not gonna reveal my score tho..esp since we have a NATIONAL BOWLER aka kevin koh in the group (for those who dun noe, it's ylm i'm talking abt..my youf grp @ church) :P

aniwae, something really interesting happened yesterdae: i was at Mac's doin' my math practice, when i suddenly noticed mabel n cheryl walk in..it was mabel i noticed first; it's her unique poise about her, tt makes her stand outa the crowd..haha.. Getting back on track, the two of 'em were talking abt how crappy life was; worryin abt the future n stuff...well, after hearin them it kinda made me realize how 'lucky' i was..even tho i may not hav a colourful social life as some of the others in the group (movies every other week, jus hangin arnd @ j8 window shoppin etc)... i ended up responding with their laments with the line "God will provide", although i think i was hardly convincing--i mean, it's hard sometimes to have an unquestioning faith, absolutely free fr doubt, esp when everyone arnd u is so skeptical..sigh..

fast forward to 6:15pm..evening mass.. the gospel was Luke9:1-6. the part that went "take nothing with you for the trip: no walking stick,no begger's bag, no food, no money, not even a extra shirt." particularly had an impact on me.. i didn't realise it at first, until Fr. johnson raised it in his homily...exactly what i had been thinking abt tt day: that God provides; just leave it all to Him, and everything will be ok. it was just the affirmation i was looking for--thank you, Lord! c",)
