went for the briefing on Acts 29's mission trip (1st -14th dec)...now i really wanna go 4 the trip, even if it means missing cj's grad nite..which costs abt $70, so i can save the cash.. but the prob is i'd probably be missing both the legion retreat fr 28-30 nov, and ylm's retreat fr 2-4 dec; not to mention mom's anniversary on the 6th (but i'd think she'd probably be supportive of my going 4 the trip, as long as my studies r in order.) Not only would i get a chance to help others, but more importantly i would be able to challenge myself: to overcome the mental tribulations of living in poverty n away frm the sheltered protection of home...i think it'd be quite an eye opener..besides, if i think i'll wait till next year i prob wouldn't hav the time; i might even lose interest...
only one person can help me make the decision--Lord, please let me know if i have your blessings to go 4 this mission trip. my heart is already eager, but if u don't want me to go pls let me know also.thank u dear Lord Jesus, Amen.
